A compassionate journey to treat chronic pain in salons

Most Americans live in some kind of pain, and back pain is the most common. When I met Salon, she was one of many Americans who suffered from pain and knee pain every day. This affected her mobility and daily activities.

During my first assessment, Sharon suffered from the engraving joints that stretched along the back of her spine. I confirmed my first assumption was correct because I had an X-ray-guided neural block injection, which indicated that her facet joint was actually the source of her pain. After identifying the root of the problem, I wanted to develop a treatment plan that could be easily understood, hoping to have a positive impact on her comfort and quality of life; and to support her overall pain management long after completing the treatment.

Salon story

Salon saw APC’s ads and caught her attention. Initially, she stopped and surfed around other pain centers to see how they supported her with chronic lower back and knee pain. She didn’t get the same satisfaction from other pain facilities, so she decided to make an appointment with APC.

Her first appointment seemed to be going well, and she claimed she was given compassionate, compassionate care for her chronic pain. She noted that the enthusiasm of APC’s pain experts is their craft and believes that they care about everything patients need to support their chronic pain. Because of the real support and care they gave her, she had confidence in them as her supplier. APC has developed an easy-to-understand plan; staff makes scheduling future appointments seamless. Overall, she felt the staff was really supportive. From billing people to receptionists to X-ray support staff; everyone showed her the people they care about, was proud of their work, and seemed to work together on everyone to provide the best care .

Her first appointment was April 5, and her latest appointment was June 1. After working with APC for only two months, she felt 75% better and got back a lot of mobility. Before her visit, she had a hard time going up the stairs, walking around the grocery store, and even doing anything without pain. Now, her pain has been reduced, so she is able to be more active and resume her daily routine. She also noticed that her care led to other physiological effects. As the pain subsided, her blood pressure decreased. Forty years later, working in the medical field and being unable to stand up for a long time all day had a huge impact on her quality of life. Now she can return to her feet more easily and comfortably. Overall, she noted the positive health effects of treatment.

She was very pleased with the APC’s support team, and she recommended our service to her son, an Army veteran, who suffered from chronic knee and back pain. One thing that stands out to her is the number of people who remember her when she comes back to treatment. Support staff must see a lot of patients every day, but they take the time to remember you, she said. “That was excellent customer service.”

The treatment plan at the salon

I developed a treatment plan that provides lasting relief and provides a higher quality of life, thus increasing her mobility. I have developed a treatment plan that targets pain generators in the target area, knees and waist.

I started with radiofrequency ablation (a minimally invasive surgery) to treat her waist. It is a needle-based program that targets her back nerves and produces lasting relief from the pain. About six months or more. She has done the process at the moment and seems to support her to a large extent.

For her knees, I gave a Supartz injection, a gel-like substance that was inserted into the knee joint. We haven’t completed the injection of her knee, but this should relieve pain and inflammation.
